“Tom’s Weekend” Grade 1 is a 2-page literacy lesson or two. We are pleased to say that this story does not mention screens.

What’s in this lesson pack :

>> A story about what Tom does on Saturday and Sunday: he goes to the park, plays games and visits friends for lunch.
>> Questions follow the story with supported answers. Students complete the sentence drawing on information from the story.
>> Two line drawings for colouring in.

Gauge the reading level of the student/s. This worksheet set starts with a reading task suitable for independent reading. If student needs a bit of help, then it’s at a good level for that child.  If it’s easy to read then move to some harder worksheets.
