Marine Garden is a 3-page lesson pack for Grades 5 to 7.  Two pages of reading and writing activities with drawings.  Two diagrams on Page 3:  the ROV and a map of Victoria, Australia.

This unit presents an account of a surprising discovery off the coast of south-eastern Australia in 2016.  Before that year, scientists did not think that such flora and fauna would be found there.  Vegetation, fish, sponges and other life flourish deep underwater.  A remotely-operated vehicle (ROV) made this discovery possible.

Literacy tasks focus on  nouns, verbs and adjectives.  Review questions on the content of the text follow the literacy tasks.
