What Our Lessons Look Like

• Standard layout for most lessons. 
• 1 – 3 pages.
• Most are in 16pt.
• Most start with a reading task. Literacy activities follow.
• Many have a self-assessment. 
• Line drawings. Younger children like to colour in.
• Easy to follow — let the lesson steer the way.
• Download and print out. Younger students needs to write on the paper.
• Many are on science or technology topics but all have a strong literacy focus. Includes illustrations in black and white.

Overlap Between Year Levels

Products are often marked Grade 2 – 3 that are marked for both grades. These lesson packs will target the middle of this two year period. But they also cater for a range of ability among children.

All lesson packs are available in Bundles of 5. There’s double value in the Bundle.

Maths Packs

Maths packs are included but there are many well-written maths texts for Grades 3 to 6. Maths sheets on this site are to help out. Download and print out  if a maths text is not to hand.

Advancing the students’ literacy is a primary objective.
