Breathing for Life

Breathing for Life is a 3-page science literacy lesson pack that introduces Grade 4 or 5 to the respiratory system.  Beginning with a reading task, this literacy unit includes special vocabulary, ten review questions, an x-ray image and a self-assessment.  The text is pitched to the Grade 4/5 ability and reading levels.

In the links below, Useful Tools for Grade 3 prepares students for Holiday in the North.  “Helpful Tools” for Grades 5 and 6 deals with more simple tools than the item for Grade 3.
