Road Trip is a 1-page literacy lesson for Grade 3 or 4. Could be suitable for Grade 2 as it is on the easier side. A short story about a road trip along the coast. Speed boats, old buildings and parachutes.  It is food for thought for the student’s creative writing task that follows. Focus is on compound words, eg landmark, and vowel teams.
